Fujairah Fort

It is the oldest fort, which is also the great historical site in the country. It was the home of the ruling family that had served a significant importance for many years. This site also served as the defensive building of the country. It was built in 1670, but it was damaged in the 20th century. Since then, the fort has been restored to bring back its glory.

Al Bithnah Fort

Located outside the city, it was built in 1735. It served as a defensive structure in the UAE because it was a guard over the trading routes crossing the mountains of Hajar.

Fujairah Museum

It is famous for its collection of important artifacts, which age can be dated by to the earlier parts of the Bronze Age. These artifacts were excavated during the digs that took place in Qidfa and Bithnah. There are many attractions; a famous one includes the old bowl, which is 2,200 years old that is made using an ostrich egg.

Participants of the tour will have the chance to shop at the vegetable and fruit market as well as at the carpet market. These places are where to buy fresh food as well as souvenirs that they can bring home.
